Kingston, Jamaica · Kukkiwon certified
A World Taekwondo programme for Prep and High School students, taught on campus by Master Kenroy Clarke — President of World Taekwondo Jamaica. Tuesdays and Thursdays, term by term.
The schedule
Students train on campus at Hillel Academy. Sessions are grouped by school level, not by belt — beginners and experienced students train together, with the syllabus set to each student's rank.

President of World Taekwondo Jamaica, WT Level 2 Kyorugi Coach and Para Taekwondo Coach Level 1. He has coached Jamaican athletes at the World Junior Championships and the US Open.
Students progress through the Kukkiwon kup ranks — 10th Kup white belt up to black stripe, then Dan grades. The full syllabus for every rank is published online.
Courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self-control and indomitable spirit are taught as deliberately as technique. Parents tell us they see it first in concentration and listening.
What it costs
No joining fee and no hidden extras. Tuition is charged monthly and may be paid a term at a time.
Bank transfer or cash. After a transfer, send the receipt on WhatsApp so we can mark the account paid.
Getting started
Registration takes about four minutes. You can do it on your phone.
Complete the form with the student's details and the parent or guardian's contact, and sign the waiver.
These are for the student's Kukkiwon record and grading book. WhatsApp them to us, or hand them in at the first class.
We measure and order the uniform for you. Gym clothes are fine for the first few sessions while it is on the way.
Turn up on a Tuesday or Thursday at the session time for your child's school level. Bring water.
Questions parents ask
None at all. Most students start at White Belt with no background in martial arts, and the session is structured so beginners work alongside experienced students at their own level.
No — we do not run a free trial. You are very welcome to come and watch a session before deciding, which costs nothing; just let us know the day before so we can expect you.
Water and comfortable sports clothing to begin with. Once the dobok arrives, that is the training uniform. No sparring gear is needed to start — the instructor will say when it is.
The programme runs on the Hillel Academy campus and is built around the school timetable. If your child attends another school and you would like them to join, message Master Ken on 876‑784‑1808 and he will let you know what is possible.
Students grade through the Kukkiwon kup ranks. Master Ken decides when a student is ready — it depends on attendance, technique and attitude rather than time served. The full syllabus for every rank is published at worldtkdmandeville.com/belt-grading-syllabus.
This programme is for Prep and High School students. Adults are welcome at World Taekwondo Mandeville, or by private arrangement — message Master Ken and he will sort it out.
Tell us before the next month begins and no further tuition is charged. There is no contract and no cancellation fee.
Classes are capped so every student gets corrected properly. Register now to hold your child's place.
